After a decade of being in business, the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, N.J., still takes the top spot when it comes to the gambling destination’s 12 casino hotels.
According to this report from Bloomberg Businessweek, the 2,002-room property captures one out of every five dollars lost by gamblers playing in Atlantic City.
Tom Ballance, president of the Borgata, says that the secret to success is simple. “People just have more fun here. This place is just better than anything else in the market.”
The resort destination will continue to evolve with new technology and is planning to bank big on Internet gambling. The property wired its hotel this year to allow guests to gamble from their rooms when Internet gambling becomes legal at the end of the year.
