America’s Best Franchising Names VP, Franchise Development

VakhariaAmerica’s Best Franchising has promoted Raj Vakharia to vice president, franchise development with responsibility for both domestic and international sales.

The Atlanta-based company operates more than 300 properties primarily in the United States under five brands: Jameson Inns & Suites; 3 Palms Resorts; Country Hearth Inns & Suites; America’s Best Inns & Suites; and Budgetel Inns and Suites.

“As we revitalize and reposition our brands, Raj can help us reach our full potential with owners both in the U.S. and in our key foreign markets, notably India and China,” explained America’s Best Franchising CEO Sterling F. Stoudenmire IV.

Vakharia has been with America’s Best Franchising since 2005 in franchise sales and support. His more than 30 years of hospitality experience also include being a property general manager with Ramada Inn; a construction manager for new properties with Microtel; and a partner in a Travelodge property in upstate New York.
