Valencia Hotel Collection Rebrand Reflects 20th Anniversary

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Valencia Hotel Group announced a rebranding to Valencia Hotel Collection, which reflects how the independent hotel group’s portfolio has transformed since its launch.

“We are incredibly proud to be celebrating twenty years of Valencia Hotel Group and felt that now was the perfect time to rebrand to Valencia Hotel Collection,” said Doyle Graham, Jr., founder, president, and CEO of VHC. “With seven independent hotels currently operating and substantial growth on the horizon, we believe the name Valencia Hotel Collection better reflects where our portfolio stands today. As we look ahead to the future of Valencia Hotel Collection, we remain committed to our mission of providing guests with an unmatched level of service, comfort, and experience.”

In conjunction with the rebrand, VHC has been focused on leveraging its team’s perspective on development and property management to expand its footprint. Restructuring amongst its leadership team has seen the appointment of Roy Kretschmer to chief operating officer; Wendy Norris to vice president of sales, marketing, and revenue optimization; and Trent Freeman to vice president of operations. Each has played a role in the independent hotel group’s growth. Looking ahead, VHC intends to expand its portfolio to new markets and broaden its property management services.

Since 2003, Houston-based VHC has provided accommodations and services to locals and visitors across Texas and California. The collection’s first hotel, Hotel Valencia Riverwalk, opened its doors along San Antonio’s famed River Walk in January 2003, followed by Hotel Valencia Santana Row in San Jose, California in July.
