Hyatt House Opens in Frisco, Texas

NewcrestImage has added the first Hyatt House property to its portfolio with the opening of a six-floor, 132-suite extended stay hotel in Frisco, Texas, which is in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex about 25 miles from DFW International Airport.

The new Hyatt House features a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartment-style suites, all with fully equipped kitchens. Other amenities include an indoor pool; a business center; a 24-hour fitness center; and two flexible-space meeting rooms, the largest having 775 square feet.

Special offerings include same-day dry cleaning; a 24-hour food market; and a grocery shopping service.

Nearby demand factors for business and leisure travelers include the 90,000-square-foot Frisco Convention Center; the Dr. Pepper Arena that seats up to 7,000 people; and the Stonebriar Centre Mall, with 165 stores on three floors. Among corporate headquarters in the area are J.C. Penney, Frito Lay, Inc., and Hewlett-Packard Company, with the seven-building campus for Toyota Motor North America under construction.
