Staypineapple Hotels Inc. announced the leadership transition of Dina Belon into the role of president, effective Nov. 1, 2023. With over 25 years in the hospitality industry, Belon has spent the last seven years in progressive leadership roles within the company.

Hotel Equities announced two new members to its leadership team in the areas of operations and finance. Brad Read has been appointed to the role of vice president of finance and Shannon Foster as vice president of operations.

Hotel Investor Apps appointed Candra Valley (Rader) as regional vice president of sales—West. Prior to joining HIA, Valley was ERP sales executive at Repay and held the role of outside sales manager for the hospitality industry for APS Payments.

Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa welcomed Ernesto Fernandez as general manager. In his new role, Fernandez will oversee the operations of the 286-guestroom resort including the spa, meeting space, and on-site restaurants.

Hawks Cay Resort named Tiffany Holmes as its new resort director. With a career spanning over 31 years in hospitality, Holmes brings more than 13 years in the Caribbean and Latin America to this new role.

Oliver Hospitality’s DoubleTree by Hilton Clarksville Riverview announced Jeffrey Pavone and Ginger Young as the team’s general manager and director of sales, respectively, to focus on resources and relationships for the property.

Camelback Resort announced the addition of Charles Blier as its vice president of facilities. In his new position, Blier will apply his knowledge to the oversight of facilities and equipment for Camelback’s skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing operations.

Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans announced the appointment of Nate Ferguson as the property’s new director of marketing. For more than a decade, Ferguson has held roles at Four Seasons hotels across the country.

The Eliza Jane, a Hyatt Unbound Collection hotel, announced the appointment of Parker Sams as managing director and Malissa Fagan as director of sales. The two will join the leadership team of the boutique hotel.

Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa announced the promotions of Lauren Rawlins as director of leisure sales and Kimberly Forte as director of group sales to cultivate the growth of the property’s sales teams.

The Trade Hotel expanded its sales leadership team with Kate Murphy as director of sales and Jason Spivey as senior catering and sales manager to assist as the property continues its operations after recently reopening.

Hotel Per La appointed Andrew Smith as its new executive chef to oversee culinary programming at the hotel’s restaurant, rooftop bar, daytime coffee house, and in-room dining operations.

The Kimpton Gray Hotel appointed Luis Silva as executive chef. He was previously executive chef for Kimpton Hotel Monaco Chicago, a role he took in 2022, and he will now oversee Boleo and Vol. 39 as well as other food and beverage services.

Henderson Beach Resort announced Tyler Simmons as its new executive chef. Simmons joined the property in May 2022 after working across the country in different positions, and now, Simmons will expand the resort’s culinary offerings.

The Davenport Hotel Collection in Spokane, Washington, appointed two chefs de cuisine; Rory Allen has been appointed as chef de cuisine for the Davenport Grand Hotel Restaurants, and Eric Nelson was appointed as chef de cuisine for the Davenport Historic Hotel Restaurants.

L’Auberge de Sedona announced the appointment of Donna Yuen as executive pastry chef at its flagship restaurant, Cress on Oak Creek. Yuen will create an elevated dessert experience for guests at the property.

The Islamorada Resort Collection named new leaders: Rhonda Whitfield as area director of sales and marketing; Jeffrey Esposito as complex director of engineering; Hicham El Ibrik as complex director of food and beverage; Rhonda Crittle as complex director of revenue manager; and Molly Marzan as assistant director of food and beverage.

Pacifica Hotels announced a roundup of new hires and promotions: Kenneth Clark has been hired as general manager of The Wayfarer Downtown LA; Angel Gonzalez has been promoted to general manager of Fireside Inn; Steven To has been hired as corporate risk manager; Mohamad Nouhad has been promoted to hotel manager at Marina Del Ray Hotel; Dena Crawford has been hired as front desk manager at FogCatcher Inn; and Mattison Modena has been hired as special events manager at Seacliff Inn.
