Yesterday, New York state legislature passed a bill that would heavily fine hosts on Airbnb and other short-term rental sites who violate the state’s short-term rental laws. Airbnb is already moving to make changes ahead of Gov. Cuomo approving the law, purging 2,233 listings that would violate the law. Read more here.
