NEWTON, Massachusettes—Sonesta International Hotels Corporation announced the opening of Sonesta Essential NW Houston, a 99-room upper-midscale hotel. The hotel is near Route 290 and attractions such as Sam Houston Race Park, the Galleria shopping mall, and Bear Creek Pioneers Park.
“We are excited to open the Sonesta Essential NW Houston, which is our second hotel with this new brand in the Houston market,” said Keith Pierce, Sonesta’s EVP and president franchise and development. “We launched the Sonesta Essential brand earlier this year and it has resonated strongly with both hotel owners and guests.”
Sonesta Essential provides guests with the essentials for their stay. Available to franchise in the United States, the brand offers new builds and conversions with modest brand standards, limited food and beverage requirements, and simplified conversion processes. Sonesta Essential has updated bedding as part of the brand’s sleep program, WiFi, hot breakfast, all-day coffee, and a fitness center.
