SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Propel Management, a division of the Propel Companies, has taken over management of a 91-room hotel in Round Rock, Texas, that will reopen this spring as the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Round Rock.

Tye Turman, a Marriott veteran who was recently named Propel Management’s CEO, said that this move by Propel is in line with the company’s third-party growth plans. Jayson Mitchell, president of Propel Management, added that the hotel, which is currently closed, had been sitting dormant for over a year and that Propel’s construction division, Propel Construction, LLC, has begun a full transformative renovation to bring the property to brand standards.

“Now that we’ve taken over management for the property and our construction division can begin renovation, we are very excited to give new life to this well-located hotel in Round Rock’s thriving market,” Mitchell said.

The future Holiday Inn Express & Suites Round Rock is located on Interstate 35—20 miles from the heart of Austin and near the Round Rock Sports Center, retail, restaurant, and commercial/office centers.
