IRVINE, Calif.—The Irvine Marriott recently revealed a lobby renovation that gives the space a new energy and is creating excitement among guests and locals.
The hotel’s lobby has been transformed into FLOE, a greatroom where visitors will feel welcome with warm, neutral tones and intuitive technology integrated into cocktail cubbies.
“The name FLOE was inspired by the vision behind the greatroom,” said General Manager Scott Mccoy. “FLOE is a place to chill—an uncluttered, relaxed space providing an inviting envelope to network or enjoy time with friends.”
The completely reimagined space boasts an inclusive, open design that progresses from indoors to outdoors. FLOE is decorated in a modern, coastal style with natural forms and artful arrangements. Texture plays a starring role in the space. The greatroom features areas for reclining, communal tables, and mingling zones fully equipped for business travel and personal entertainment.
Multi-device outlets are available within cocktail cubbies for charging cell phones, laptops, cameras, and tablets. The business center features computers and convenient printers where guests can print boarding passes or meeting agendas.
The lobby renovation includes the addition of a new restaurant that offers a candlelit atmosphere complete with fire pits and an outdoor patio with a signature living wall of herbs.
