HUNTER Announces the Sale of a Three Hotel Portfolio in South Carolina

ATLANTA—Hunter Hotel Advisors (HUNTER) announced the sale of a three hotel portfolio in South Carolina. Lee Hunter, COO of HUNTER, and David Perrin, senior vice president of HUNTER, arranged the sale of the Hampton Inn & Suites in Fort Mill, South Carolina, and the Fairfield Inn & Suites and Townplace Suites Rock Hill in Rock Hill, South Carolina, on behalf of the various investor groups led by the Warren Norman Company. Shreeji Hotel Group, a privately held real estate investment, development, and management company, purchased the portfolio for an undisclosed price.

“This transaction provided our investment group with an opportunity to divest some assets close to home while we seek opportunities in new markets. We sincerely appreciate the work of Lee, David, and the HUNTER team who did a great job facilitating this transaction,” said Warren Norman of the Warren Norman Company.

Together, the portfolio provides 307 rooms to the suburbs of Charlotte, North Carolina. Fort Mill and Rock Hill are 30 minutes outside of Charlotte’s City Center, which is home to six Fortune 500 companies and attracts more than 25 million visitors annually. Rock Hill is the fifth-largest city in South Carolina and is home to business and industrial parks including Knowledge Park, Waterford Business Par, and Antrim Business Park.

“The sale of this portfolio is another indication of the strength of quality-branded assets in growing submarkets. Like so many other sellers today, the Warren Norman Company took advantage of the unbridled demand we continue to see in these locations,” said Hunter.
