Braintree Group Opens the Newly Renovated River’s Edge Hotel

PORTLAND, Oregon—Braintree Group announced the grand opening of the River’s Edge Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The newly renovated property is located in the South Waterfront neighborhood of Portland, Oregon.

The 112-room hotel was originally acquired by Braintree Group in June 2021 and officially joined the Tapestry Collection by Hilton on June 13, 2023. Resolute Road Hospitality will manage the property.

“Situated along Portland’s South Waterfront, overlooking the banks of the Willamette River, this property has tremendous growth potential,” said Eric A. Danziger, CEO, Braintree Group. “Our strategic decision to join the Tapestry Collection will allow us to tap into Hilton’s distribution systems and loyalty program. The addition of Resolute Road as the asset’s management will allow us to achieve operational efficiencies and increase the return to our investors.”

The renovation focused on the guest experience and the hotel’s facilities. In addition to a renovated lobby and guestrooms, the hotel now includes a coffee outlet, Mill Café & Lounge restaurant, lounge, market, meeting rooms, and modern fitness center.

“We are thrilled to be operating this newly renovated hotel under Resolute Road Hospitality’s management,” said Gary Horton, president, Resolute Road Hospitality. “The conversion to a Tapestry Collection by Hilton allows guests to take full advantage of their Hilton Honors Benefits while being able to stay at a hotel that portrays the unique atmosphere that Portland is so well known for. It continues to be our honor and privilege to welcome guests from around the nation, and our commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience is reflected in every corner of this revitalized space.”
