AHLA Partners With IncentiFind, Brings Sustainable Savings to Members

WASHINGTON—The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) and IncentiFind announced a new partnership to help AHLA’s more than 30,000 members identify sustainability-related cost savings.

IncentiFind offers more than a half million incentives, including tax credits, grants, fee waivers, rebates, and bill credits. These credits support the implementation of green measures like energy efficiency, renewables, water conservation, and more, which are all directed at reducing bottom-line costs for hoteliers.

As part of this partnership, AHLA members will receive pricing on IncentiFind’s VERIFY Report, which identifies rebates and savings for asset upgrades, such as buying energy-efficient appliances or installing solar panels.

AHLA’s partnership with IncentiFind is the latest step the association has taken to advance sustainability throughout the hotel industry under the Responsible Stay initiative, which highlights AHLA members’ commitment to energy efficiency, water conservation, waste reduction, and responsible sourcing. Last month, AHLA and the Hotel Association of Canada signed a letter of intent to form a joint venture company that will own and operate the Green Key Global certification system in the United States and Canada. That partnership will help promote the use of a system that gives hotels an eco-rating based on key metrics like energy, water conservation, waste management, and others.

“Hoteliers continue to face higher operating costs due to a lingering labor shortage, lending woes, and constrained supply growth. AHLA’s partnership with IncentiFind helps owners and operators identify ways to save money while also taking the guesswork out of going green,” said AHLA President and CEO Chip Rogers. “We are proud to play a role in helping our members boost their bottom line and protect the environment.”

“This partnership supports AHLA members with property savings and promotes a better-built environment for everyone,” said Natalie Campos Goodman, founder and CEO of IncentiFind.
