Crowne Plaza Miami International Airport Completes $6.5 Million Renovation

MIAMI, Fla.—The Crowne Plaza Miami International Airport announced that it wil complete a $6.5 million renovation at the property this month.

“We’ve always had a prime location, on LeJeune just south of the Miami airport, and a friendly, loyal, service-focused team here,” said Peter K. Sahora, general manager. “Now we have a product that matches the strength of the service we deliver every day to every guest. It’s an amazing transformation.”

Upgrades include new 42″ LCD TVs, a total redo of every guestroom, an updated lobby, bar, and restaurant. Public spaces and guest corridors also received new treatments. Other eco-friendly renovations were made including the addition of a new hot water system, new roofing, and better temperature controls that save on energy.

“From the front door, through the bar and restaurant and in every inch of the guest room – our guests will feel the changes we have made. Add that to an already high guest satisfaction and very high repeat guest ratio and you have a hotel that meets and exceeds the myriad expectations of our business and leisure guests,” said Sahora.
