NEW DELHI and AGRA, India and MCLEAN, Va.—Hilton Worldwide today announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Agra in one of the leading tourist destinations in India, renowned for its many Mughal-era buildings, most notably the Taj Mahal. With this launch, Hilton Worldwide has a presence across the Golden Triangle, the most popular tourist circuit in the country, with hotels in Delhi NCR, Jaipur, and Agra. The hotel is owned by Archer Hospitality Private Limited and managed by Hilton Worldwide.

Set in the heart of the city and minutes from the Taj Mahal, the DoubleTree by Hilton Agra is among very few hotels offering views of the mausoleum. The hotel is also near popular attractions and shopping districts including the Agra Fort, Akbar’s Tomb, Jama Masjid, and Kinari Bazaar. The hotel is located 10 kilometers from the Agra Airport and seven kilometers from the Agra Cantonment Railway Station. Guests driving from Delhi can also easily access the hotel from the Delhi – Agra Yamuna Expressway.
DoubleTree by Hilton Agra features 104 guestrooms, including four suites, all equipped with modern amenities including the signature Sweet Dreams by DoubleTree sleep experience bed, Wi-Fi, 42-inch HDTV with premium channels, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar, electronic safe, and a three or four-fixture bathroom with a walk-in rain shower. Each one-bedroom suite additionally includes a separate living room, dining area, and powder room. The Presidential Suite is equipped with a pantry and a walk-in closet in addition to a bedroom and living room.
Guests will be able to choose from four dining venues at the hotel, including: North 27, an all-day global cuisine restaurant; Kebab-E-Que, offering Indian North-West Frontier cuisine; Plush Bar, a lounge; and The Food Store, an all-day café and deli. Recreational facilities at the hotel include an outdoor infinity pool, a 24-hour fitness center, Kids’ Activities Room, spa, and a salon.
DoubleTree by Hilton Agra also features a range of flexible meeting and event offerings. The 3,840-square foot Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 425 people and is connected to an open-air area. The 1,820-square foot Coronation Room can be separated into three distinct spaces and accommodates up to 200. And Concourse is the hotel’s multi-function hall, which can accommodate up to 75 people. Guests can also make use of two boardrooms and the 24-hour business center.
