DoubleTree San Bernardino Opens After $10 Million Renovation

DYER, Ind. and SAN BERNARDINO, Calif.—IIG has announced the completion of a $10 million renovation of the formerly independently-run The Hotel San Bernardino, and the re-opening of the property under the DoubleTree by Hilton flag. The top-to-bottom renovation includes modern updates throughout guest rooms, meeting spaces, and all public areas.

“Our mission was to create an environment that exemplifies a new style of aristocracy: spaces tailored to capture the pace of today’s travelers, while preserving a sophisticated edge,” says IIG President Patti Tritschler. “We are excited that Hilton accepted our full-service design into their system.”

The 251-room hotel’s design is inspired by natural landscapes, including a warm color palette and exaggerated textures to mimic the San Bernardino Mountains and hot springs.
