The renovated resort and spa, managed by Benchmark Resorts & Hotels, features 156 rooms, including 44 suites, 12,000 square feet of meeting and event space, two restaurants, a pool, four tennis courts, executive fitness center, recreational activities, and scenic hiking trails surrounding the full-service spa.

Sea Island: The five-star Georgia resort has unveiled its new 5,000-square-foot Mizner Ballroom at The Cloister as part of an expansion project that complements the opening of the new Garden Wing, with 63 new guestrooms, opening this spring. The expansion brings added meeting space for private conferences, executive retreats, receptions, dinners, and meetings to the 33,000-square-foot space overlooking the Georgia coastline.

Avalon Hotel: Proper Hospitality, which assumed management of the Avalon Hotel last March, and interior designer Kelly Wearstler, who returned to the Beverly Hills hotel after her original design back in 1999, spearheaded a $2 million renovation designed to upgrade the boutique hotel.
