Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), a privately owned hotel ownership and management group based in Atlanta, announced that it has named Ron Mader regional director of operations. In his new role, Mader will oversee the daily operations for 10 hotels across the HVMG portfolio. He will report directly to Richard Jones, HVMG senior vice president and chief operating officer.
Mader joined HVMG in 2010 as a general manager and was promoted in 2011 to area GM where he oversaw four full-service properties in HVMG’s portfolio. He was honored as HVMG’s GM of the Year in 2012 and most recently, led the transition team when HVMG assumed management of the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque in July. Mader has more than 30 years of hotel industry experience. Prior to joining HVMG, he served as a GM/area director for Lodgian for 11 years.
