McKibbon Hospitality Receives Marriott Partnership Award

Marriott International presented hotel management and development company McKibbon Hospitality with its 2017 Partnership Circle Award at the annual Marriott CONNECT Conference held in Los Angeles.

McKibbon was among about a dozen groups across the U.S. to receive awards. The Partnership Circle Award recognizes companies with Marriott portfolios of 10 or more hotels as of December 31, 2016. The award winners must also represent at least three Marriott select brands and meet a number of performance thresholds and criteria.

McKibbon Hospitality was the first recipient of the Marriott Partnership Circle Award in 1995. Since then, the group has grown to manage 53 Marriott hotels with four additional Marriott projects currently in development across North Carolina: AC Hotel Asheville Downtown opening this summer; AC Hotel and Residence Inn, both opening in early 2018 in Charlotte City Center; and Hotel Arras of Starwood’s Tribute Portfolio opening in Asheville next year.
