InterContinental Hotels Group announced plans for a Holiday Inn Resort hotel in Pagosa Springs, Colo., adding to the growing global Holiday Inn Resort brand portfolio, currently at 40 properties worldwide.
The hotel is slated to open by summer 2015 and will have 101 guestrooms, including 11 suites. Nestled in the San Juan Mountains, the property will offer access to activities available year-round, including golfing, rafting, horseback riding, and ATV rides. Additionally, skiing and snowboarding activities are available nearby at Wolf Creek Ski Area. The largest snowmobile tour company in the area, Wolfcreek Snowmobile Tours, also operates out of the resort.
