Hyatt Regency Houston Galleria Hires Executive Chef

landfearHOUSTON—Hyatt Regency Houston Galleria, expected to open this fall, has announced the hiring of veteran and award-winning chef Deborah Landfear. As executive chef of Urban Star Restaurant, Market and Lounge and culinary specialist for hotel functions and events, Landfear will develop seasonal menus using Texas-sourced ingredients that embody the flavor of Houston.

“We are dedicated to offering the best foods and products from Texas and specifically the greater Houston area,” said Landfear. “By creating fare that is truly Texas-sourced, we can fuse together a new exciting menu with traditional classics that entice travelers and locals to come back time and time again.”

Urban Star will serve as communal place on the first floor of the Hyatt Regency Houston Galleria hotel, offering an energizing space for guests to share and connect any time of day or night.
