Homewood Suites Opens Hotel in San Antonio, Texas

MCLEAN, Va.—Homewood Suites by Hilton announced the opening of its newest property in San Antonio, Texas. The third property in the area, the San Antonio debut demonstrates Homewood Suites’ strong commitment to expanding in U.S. urban markets as well as the overall demand for extended-stay hotels.

The four-story, 109-suite hotel, owned by SAT WestLakes, will create 25 permanent jobs and is managed by Baywood Hotels. General Manager Margie Cooper and Director of Sales Samuel Garcia have been in the hotel industry for a combined 36 years.

Homewood Suites San Antonio Southwest / SeaWorld offers studio and one-bedroom suites, with additional guest amenities including a full evening meal with drinks Monday-Thursday in the hotel’s hospitality center—the “Lodge;” 24-hour on-site pantry; complimentary grocery shopping service; outdoor pool; fully-equipped fitness center; sports court; outdoor patio area with a kitchen and gas grills; 700 square feet of meeting space; and 24-hour executive business center.
