Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas to Open in May

DALLAS, Texas—The Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas Downtown will officially open in early May in the former Allen Building on Commerce and Ervay streets. The historic, 93-year-old tower is located in the heart of the city. NewcrestImage, a hotel development, construction, and management firm based in Lewisville, Texas, owns the hotel.

The 176-room high-rise hotel is a short walk to Dealey Plaza, the Majestic Theatre, Thanks-Giving Square, and Deep Ellum. Guests can enjoy convenient excursions such as shopping at the Neiman Marcus flagship store across the street, entertainment events at the American Airlines Center and Dallas Arts District, and family-friendly outings to the Dallas World Aquarium, Klyde Warren Park, and Perot Museum of Nature and Science. Its close proximity to Dallas Love Field Airport and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is ideal for business travelers, who will also appreciate its nearness to the Dallas Convention Center and easy access to I-30, I-35E, and US 75.

“We are very pleased and excited to be opening our newest hotel in such a historic space in downtown Dallas,” said Mike Patel, CEO and chairman of NewcrestImage LLC. “The downtown area is becoming such a vibrant location and we believe the addition of this hotel will build on that momentum.”

The hotel’s guestrooms feature a 49-inch HDTV, mini-refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, and Hampton bed. Guests will also have access to free Wi-Fi, 24-hour fitness and business centers, Treats Suite Shop, conference room for small meetings, indoor pool, complimentary breakfast and evening socials, laundry service and valet parking in the private garage. In addition, guests will have the option to upgrade to studio suites for more space, city views, free in-room snacks, a wet bar, and sofa sleeper.
