Dual-branded Hometowne Studios, Red Roof Inn Properties Open In Michigan After Renovations

Red Roof announced the opening of the dual-branded HomeTowne Studios Auburn Hills and Red Roof Inn Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and the dual-branded HomeTowne Studios Flint and Red Roof Inn Flint in Flint, Michigan.

The properties are owned by Akram Namou and subsidiaries, who invested about $1.8 million in the renovation of the Auburn Hills properties and about $1.75 million in the renovation of the Flint properties. Namou also owns dual-branded Red Roof properties in Southfield, Michigan.

The HomeTowne Studios Auburn Hills is a 65-room extended-stay hotel that offers kitchens with full-sized refrigerators, microwaves, stove tops, and activity tables with chairs. The hotel also offers weekly housekeeping and kitchen kits available for purchase at the front desk.

The Red Roof Inn Auburn Hills is a 53-room hotel located adjacent to the HomeTowne Studios property and the two hotels offer WiFi, coin laundry, coffee in the lobby, long-distance calling, a fitness facility, grab-and-go breakfast, and a seasonal pool.

As part of the conversion to Red Roof properties, both Auburn Hills hotels received an entry façade, exterior paint and signage, new lobby furniture, refreshed guestroom furniture, and ice and vending machines.

The HomeTowne Studios Auburn Hills and Red Roof Inn Auburn Hills are located near several area landmarks and destinations, including Oakland University, Meadow Brook Amphitheatre, Pontiac General Hospital, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan, SEA LIFE Michigan Aquarium, and Troy Historic Village. Oakland County International Airport (PTK) and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) are a short drive away.

The HomeTowne Studios Flint is a 50-room extended-stay hotel that offers kitchens with full-sized refrigerators, microwaves, stove tops, and activity tables with chairs. The hotel also offers weekly housekeeping and kitchen kits available for purchase at the front desk.
