DoubleTree Fresno Convention Center Completes Renovation

FRESNO, Calif. and MCLEAN, Va.—Hilton Worldwide and DoubleTree by Hilton has announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Fresno Convention Center, following a comprehensive $7 million renovation that includes modern design updates to the lobby, guest rooms, fitness center, pool areas, and more. The 321-room hotel is situated directly across from the Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center and near the Tower District, home to restaurants, nightclubs, performing arts venues, galleries, and other attractions. The hotel also offers access to Yosemite National Park, Fresno State University, and Fresno Yosemite International Airport. DoubleTree by Hilton Fresno Convention Center is owned by Uniwell Corporation, LLC and managed by Granite Hospitality.

With the completion of its renovation, DoubleTree by Hilton Fresno Convention Center debuts a newly-designed open atrium lobby, paying homage to the Central Valley’s expansive outdoor landscape and treasured national parks, reflecting the rugged beauty of the forests, cliffs, and canyons of the nearby Sierra Nevada range. All of the hotel’s guest rooms have also been revamped with contemporary furnishings and remodeled bathroom.

“DoubleTree by Hilton Fresno Convention Center exemplifies our brand’s commitment to delivering the ‘little things’ that create a rewarding travel experience,” said John Greenleaf, global head, DoubleTree by Hilton. “From the hotel’s beautiful and inviting design to the first-rate service experience that starts with the brand’s signature warm chocolate chip cookie welcome, we look forward to delighting guests with our globally-renowned service culture at this property.”

Complimentary amenities include newly-renovated pool and hot tub areas, renovated 24-hour fitness center, 24-hour business center, and Wi-Fi throughout the hotel’s public spaces and guest rooms.

Several dining options are also available, beginning with the Atrium Lounge, where a trellis design and waterfall views create a setting to enjoy the drink menu. International Café offers a diverse menu, including classic American fare as well as flavors from around the world. Menu highlights include the chef’s signature Baja Fish Tacos and Maple Glazed Stuffed Pork Chop. Guests can jumpstart their day at the hotel’s Java Stop, or have in-room dining.

“We are delighted to welcome guests to experience the exciting transformation at our hotel and deliver the globally-recognized service culture that is ingrained in the brand,” said Steve Klein, general manager, DoubleTree by Hilton Fresno Convention Center.

With over 27,000 square feet of flexible function space, including a main ballroom and 18 separate meeting rooms, the hotel is suited to accommodate meetings, weddings, and other events ranging anywhere from 10—1,500 attendees. For smaller group meetings, the hotel offers the Meetings Simplified by DoubleTree by Hilton package from $39.95 per person, which includes the meeting room, basic meeting Wi-Fi, meeting room supplies including a flipchart, markers, extension and power cord, and all day non-alcoholic beverage service.

In addition to the warm chocolate chip cookie welcome, guests are offered DoubleTree by Hilton brand amenities, including an assortment of gourmet in-room tea and coffee choices from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, the new Aroma Actives natural skin and body care line, and an industry-recognized service culture built around the idea of CARE, which stands for Create a Rewarding Experience for guests, team members, and the community.
