DoubleTree by Hilton Enters Suzhou, Anhui

SUZHOU, China—DoubleTree by Hilton and Hilton Worldwide announced the opening of the 23-story, 301-room DoubleTree by Hilton Anhui-Suzhou. The opening marks the first DoubleTree by Hilton property in Suzhou as well as in north Anhui Province. The hotel is operated by Hilton Worldwide and owned by Anhui Shou Cheng Investment Management Co.

“The opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Anhui-Suzhou underscores the continued growth and success of our brand in China,” said John Greenleaf, global head, DoubleTree by Hilton. “We look forward to delivering the unparalleled leisure options for which our brand is known to guests in Suzhou, Anhui for the first time, starting with our signature warm chocolate chip cookie welcome.”

The hotel offers five uniquely-themed restaurants including the Lobby Lounge, serving drinks and a light menu; Yilin Chinese Restaurant, serving authentic cuisine; Coffee Garden, a casual spot offering local Asian specialties and fresh seafood; Yuyan Hotspot, a family-friendly eatery; and Havana lounge, a wine and malt whiskey lounge.

The property offers the largest meeting facilities in Suzhou with more than 1,820 square meters of meeting and banquet space. The 1,030-square meter Grand Ballroom, which is divisible into two sections, can cater to more than 1,000 guests. Nine multi-function rooms are equipped with screens and internet access.

Each guestroom and suite is equipped with work areas, wireless internet access, a 42-inch LCD TV, and the signature Doubletree by Hilton SweetDreams bed. Amenities also include a 24-hour fitness center, outdoor pool, and spa. Executive Room and Suite guests can also enjoy the elegant amenities found in the Executive Lounge.
