ATLANTA—Capella Hotels and Resorts announced that it will open Capella and Solis branded properties as part of the new Anapa destination resort in the sandy Black Sea coast in the Krasnodar Region of Russia.
ADAPTAS, the project developer and primary investor, is creating a destination where both hotels will be part of the iconic, oyster-shaped glass structure overlooking the Black Sea conceptually designed by the architect Hadi Teherani. This Capella hotel will feature 76-rooms and 42-villas while the Solis hotel will offer 672 rooms, complemented by the region’s only luxury casino and an array of entertainment and dining facilities. The Anapa hotel project will be Capella Hotels and Resorts’ second venture in Russia as the company will unveil the Solis Sochi Hotel and Solis Sochi Suites in mid-December 2013, in time for the 2014 Winter Olympics.

The casino will comprise 400 gambling machines, 85 gaming tables, and private halls for VIP clients. Other main features of the complex will include a nightclub which can accommodate 400 people; a 400-seat main restaurant with an open air grill terrace operating during the summer seasons; a fine dining restaurant offering international cuisine; a 100-seat beach café and bar; a lobby bar with 150 seats and a rooftop restaurant.
The hotel’s Auriga Spa Center will feature an indoor swimming pool, aerobics and yoga studios, steam rooms, Turkish baths and saunas, 11-treatment rooms, and a juice-bar. Within the complex grounds, there will be a an outdoor salt water swimming pool, children’s playground, sports stadium, tennis courts, and a boathouse to cater to water sports enthusiasts. Over 13,000 square feet of conference space facilities will be available including a Grand Ballroom which has flexible partitioning for smaller groups.
