Amazon Destination shut down on Oct. 13, less than six months after its launch, reports The Seattle Times.
The service launched in April and allowed customers to book close-to-home hotels for quick getaways.
“We have learned a lot and have decided to discontinue Amazon Destinations.” the company said in a statement.
