Melvin’s Juice Box, the organic juice bar located inside Miss Lily’s Caribbean oasis in SoHo, New York is thrilled to announce the opening of a second location at Dream Downtown this fall. The location will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the café.
The menu will feature Melvin’s 100% organic, freshly made juices and smoothies, as well as a new selection of Body Good Salads, alongside a Melvin’s-inspired menu from the hotel’s Executive Chef, Michael Armstrong. The Body Good salads (inspired by Melvin’s best-selling “Body Good” green juice) are made with organic, market-driven ingredients. In addition to Chef Armstrong’s breakfast-only menu, he has crafted a selection of dishes available all-day, as well as an array of grab-and-go items, such as salads and wraps, all of which have been designed to complement Melvin’s offerings.
Prominently located at the front of Dream Downtown and currently being fully renovated, Melvin’s Juice Box will be accessible through the hotel, as well as via its own entrance on 16th Street, enabling guests to quickly and conveniently purchase take-away items.
Melvin Major, Jr. is a downtown juicing legend and 20-year veteran of New York’s fresh, organic juice scene. Previously of all-natural market Life Thyme in the West Village, Melvin has garnered a cult following.
