Hyatt to Eliminate Adult In-Room Entertainment

Hyatt Hotels is the latest hotel chain to drop adult movies from its entertainment options, reports the Los Angeles Times. According to the article, Hyatt did not divulge why this decision was made. The company released a statement, explaining “in-room programming choices are just one part of the guest experience Hyatt is constantly evaluating. As part of that process, Hyatt has made the decision to stop offering adult entertainment video on-demand at any Hyatt hotel.”

Marriott announced in 2011 that it would remove adult content from its in-room entertainment options, while Hilton phased out that aspect of its entertainment menu in August.

The National Center on Sexual Exploitation has applauded Hyatt on the decision.
