The U.S. hotel construction pipeline has posted nine straight quarters of year-over-year (YOY) growth and recorded increases of at least 10 percent YOY for the last five quarters, Lodging Econometrics reports. The construction pipeline is now at 4,055 projects/503,935 rooms, up 15 percent YOY by projects and 14 percent by rooms compared to a year ago.
