The American Hotel & Lodging Association announced that Jolyon Bulley, CEO—Americas, IHG Hotels & Resorts, has been appointed to its executive committee. Read LODGING‘s coverage here.

Natalie Serse has been appointed general manager of the Homewood Suites by Hilton New Orleans French Quarter. Serse joins the property from Bridge Hotel Group where she recently served as general manager at Hampton Inn NYC Empire State Building.

Bernardus Lodge & Spa announced the appointment of Hartmut Ott as general manager. Ott will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day management of the property and its food and beverage operations.

Hotel Citrine and AC Palo Alto announced Vi Nguyen as campus director of sales and marketing for the dual-branded property. During her career, she has worked for companies like Crescent Hotels and Resorts and Radiate Hospitality.

ADERO Scottsdale Resort appointed Michael Valentino as director of sales and marketing. In his new role, Valentino leads the resort’s sales and marketing division where he will oversee strategies and experiences.

InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta announced the appointment of Daniel Padberg as director of food and beverage. Padberg will direct the property’s food and beverage program inclusive of The Americano, Club Lounge, and in-room dining.

The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa Avon, Vail Valley hired Scott Steffek as director of vibe, a newly created position to elevate guest connections. Steffek joins the property from The Farnam Hotel, Autograph Collection.

Banyan Tree Group hired two executives to strengthen its global presence: Tom Riley as senior executive director, acquisitions and development for the Americas, and Javier de Villanueva Baygual as business development director for Europe.

Marriott Lincolnshire Resort announced the promotions of several team members: Brent Mulvey is director of food and beverage, Everardo Fajardo is executive chef, and Kasandra Liebich is director of sales and events.

Hospitality Staffing Solutions has appointed Kevin Murphy to take over leadership of the company from outgoing President Tim McPherson, who is retiring after seven years. Murphy’s title is executive vice president and division chief financial officer.

Standard Textile announced the appointment of Jonathan Simon as its new executive vice president of global growth and strategy. Simon will play a role in guiding the company’s vision and overseeing the development and implementation of global growth strategies.
