CHICAGO—Spire Hospitality, one of the nation’s leading and most respected hotel management companies, has been awarded the management of eight Embassy Suites Hotels. The eight hotels were acquired by AWH Partners, a privately held, New-York based, real estate investment, development, and management firm. Spire Hospitality will soon begin the more than $50 million capital improvement repositioning of these assets to meet the requirements of each hotel’s new 15-year franchise agreement.
“Embassy Suites is a tremendous brand, and we’re honored to have been selected to manage these hotels,” says Bill DeForrest, CEO and president of Spire Hospitality. “The investment that each individual hotel will receive and the strength of the existing associates at these hotels will allow us to continue to build very successful performance at each of these hotels.”
The collection of Embassy Suites Hotels are located in dynamic markets representing a broad geographic distribution: Embassy Suites Seattle – Bellevue in Bellevue, Wash.; Embassy Suites Seattle – North/Lynwood in Lynwood, Wash.; Embassy Suites Portland – Washington Square in Tigard, Ore.; Embassy Suites Cincinnati – Northeast in Blue Ash, Ohio; Embassy Suites Colorado Springs – Colorado Springs, Colo.; Embassy Suites Denver – Southeast in Denver, Colo.; Embassy Suites Detroit – Livonia/Novi in Livonia, Mich.; and El Paso Suites Hotel, which will regain the Embassy Suites flag in El Paso, Texas.
“We are thrilled to have chosen Spire Hospitality to manage these exciting additions to our portfolio,” added Russ Flicker, managing partner of AWH Partners. “We believe Spire will take advantage of our dramatic repositioning plans and strengthen our assets’ performance with its proven track record and history of success.”
We would like to buy a flag for Embassy suites in Midland Texas.
