On the Move: This Week’s Comings and Goings

Dream Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Kevin Rohani as vice president of development. Rohani has over a decade of experience in portfolio expansion and expertise in hotels, restaurants, and nightlife. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing the development of new projects and sourcing new deals globally.

Here’s a look at other notable comings and goings that took place this week:

Richard Hill has been named president and chief operating officer for Mosaic Hotel Group. Hill will be responsible for all the operational aspects of the collection, as well as oversee operational standards.

Loews Hotels has announced the appointment of Christine Lawson as senior vice president of Loews Sales Organization. Lawson will oversee all aspects of sales for Loews Hotels & Resorts, Loews Regency Hotels, and the OE Collection.

Davidson Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Caroline Dyal as vice president, operations for its lifestyle and luxury division, Pivot Hotels & Resorts. Dyal is a 20-year veteran of the hospitality industry and will oversee and support all Pivot hotels.

Jumeirah Group has appointed Marc Dardenne as group chief operating officer. Dardenne previously worked with Patina Hotels and Resorts in Singapore as CEO, where he oversaw brand creation, development, and asset management.

Hyatt Regency Austin has announced the appointment of Amber Arndt as its new director of finance. Arndt has worked with Hyatt for 15 years, previously serving as assistant director of finance for Hyatt Regency Maui.

Kanvar Singh has been promoted to area managing director of Time Hotels. In his new role, Singh will be responsible for the day-to-day management of The Time New York and The Time Nyack.

Alicia Howell has been appointed as the new director of spas for the Duval Collection. With over 16 years of industry experience, Howell will oversee and manage all operational aspects of The Spa at Pier House Resort & Spa and Top Spa at La Concha Key West.

Katie Donald has been named director of sales and marketing and Jackie Collens has been appointed director of sales for The St. Regis New York. Donald will oversee the property sales, marketing, and advertising for the property, while Collens will work with the team in the development and execution of the strategic sales initiatives.

Hospitality veteran Sheila Gerbig-Hussey has been named general manager of the Royal Kahana Maui by Outrigger. Gerbig-Hussey will oversee department operations to ensure guest satisfaction.

Aloft New Orleans Downtown has appointed Steffanie Arnold as director of sales. With over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Arnold most recently served as director of sales at the Omni Royal Crescent Hotel. In her new position, she will be responsible for the leadership and management of the hotel’s designated sales teams, including overseeing and coordination all marketing, sales managers, and catering and conference services.
