FORT WORTH, Texas—Omni Fort Worth Hotel announced today the appointment of Amol Agarwal as executive chef of the luxury downtown property. In this role, Agarwal will oversee the culinary operations for the property’s Bob’s Steak & Chop House, Cast Iron Restaurant, Wine Thief, and Whiskey & Rye and manage all catering, in-room dining and poolside dining at the Water Horse Pool Bar.
Agarwal is a seasoned veteran with more than 20 years of culinary experience. Most recently, he was the executive chef and director of food and beverage at Loews Regency Hotel in San Francisco, Calif. Prior to that, Agarwal was the executive chef for The Ritz-Carlton in South Beach, Fla. He has also held past executive chef positions at JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Ariz., and Straits Restaurants in San Francisco, Calif.
Chef Agarwal started his culinary career as the chef de partie at the Four Seasons in Goa, India. He has worked in several countries, including China, Jamaica and the Maldives, where he honed his skills of mixing different local ingredients and creating flavorful dishes. Agarwal received his culinary education at the Institute of Hotel Management in Chennai, India.
