CALGARY, Alberta—Hampton Hotels announced the official opening of its newest property, the 135-room Hampton Inn – Calgary-Airport North, located adjacent to the Calgary International Airport.
“Hampton Inn by Hilton Calgary Airport North offers contemporary accommodations for value-conscious guests, and will be a welcome sight for business and leisure travelers alike,” says Marcel Berube, general manager, Hampton Inn by Hilton Calgary Airport North. “Finding accommodations close to the Calgary Airport has been a challenge and, with a brand new runway and new terminal scheduled to open in a year, our timing couldn’t be better.”
The hotel is the first of three Hilton Worldwide properties to be built as part of the newly developed Calgary Airport Hotels and Conference Center (CAHCC). All three hotels will be owned by Prestige Hospitality Group, and operated by Hilton Worldwide.
Hampton Inn by Hilton Calgary Airport North—the closest hotel built to the airport in more than 25 years—offers amenities such as complimentary hot breakfast, laundry/valet service, and a gym/fitness center. Guestrooms are equipped with free high-speed internet access, Clean and Fresh Hampton beds, and LCD TVs. The hotel also offers meeting and conference rooms accommodating up to 140 guests. Complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle service is also provided to guests.
