Nashville’s pipeline is currently at 109 projects/13,789 rooms, the fourth largest pipeline of all markets in the United States, according to a recent United States Construction Pipeline Trend Report from Lodging Econometrics. Nashville has 22 projects/2,920 rooms under construction, 65 projects/8,394 rooms scheduled to start construction in the next 12 months, and 22 projects/2,475 rooms in early planning.
Significantly, projects in Nashville’s early planning stage increased 57 percent quarter-over-quarter. The two largest projects that entered early planning last quarter are both 200-room projects in the downtown area. Neither has yet to make a branding decision.
