Marriott and Fast Company Introduce the ‘Inspiration Collective’

WASHINGTON—Marriott is kicking off the new year by teaming up with Fast Company to introduce the “Inspiration Collective”—an interactive display and experiential showcase for cutting-edge products, experiences, and services to inspire innovative minds. The display presents guests with the opportunity to explore dozens of products both through a digital touchscreen and physical experiences.

“We believe that travel expands the mind and stimulates new ways of thinking. Our guests value originality and crave new experiences so Marriott Hotels is constantly evolving to provide new aesthetically inspiring spaces and innovative ideas,” says Mara Hannula, vice president of brand marketing for Marriott Hotels. “There is no better partner than Fast Company to bring cutting-edge inspiration to life on-property. Technology and new gadgets change and shape how we live and travel every day, and the Inspiration Collective allows us to introduce and test them alongside our guests.”

Open to hotel guests and visitors, the digital interface brings together elements of Fast Company‘s ‘Recommender’ column and Marriott’s increased focus on innovation and experiences. Each month, Fast Company taps into its community of innovators to compile a list of products, places, and experiences that inspire the world’s most creative executives, designers, and entrepreneurs. The Inspiration Collective not only showcases these products, experiences, and services digitally, but displays a selection of physical products next to the screen to provide a space to engage and drive inspiration, creativity, and conversations.

In January 2018, the Inspiration Collective kicked off its national tour in which the wall will make its way around the country to 10 locations over the course of five months. The wall will be at each location for approximately three weeks. The locations and dates of the tour are listed below.
