Best Western International expects to open its first hotel in the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan in mid-2015. The company has signed an agreement for a 41-room upscale hotel in the country’s capital, Thimphu. This new-build property will join the company’s upscale Best Western Plus hotels. The hotel will feature a fitness center, a spa, a bar, a terrace lounge , and two restaurants, including one traditional Bhutanese restaurant with outdoor seating.
