MCR Acquires Two Hotels in Phoenix, Arizona

NEW YORK—MCR has acquired two hotels in or near Phoenix, Arizona: the 169-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites Scottsdale – Old Town and the 121-room Hampton Inn by Hilton Phoenix-Biltmore. With the acquisition of these hotels, MCR has nine hotels in the Grand Canyon State.

Located in Old Town Scottsdale, the all-suite Holiday Inn Express & Suites is a point for exploring the area’s shops, restaurants, and art galleries, as well as museums and historic sites. The hotel is only a mile and a half from Fashion Square Mall. The San Francisco Giants’ spring training is at nearby Scottsdale Stadium.

The 121-room Hampton Inn Phoenix-Biltmore is located off Camelback Road and is half a mile from the Biltmore Fashion Park for shopping, dining, and nightlife. Golf can be played on courses nearby or hike at Camelback Mountain. The hotel is situated 10 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from downtown, and in close proximity to office space that’s home to companies like Honeywell, Accenture, and Cisco.
