NAPLES, Fla.—Following the recent completion of an $18 million expansion and $1.7 million renovation, the boutique Inn on Fifth is again adding to its location with the December opening of a new restaurant—AVENUE5. With seating for 240 guests, the $2 million, 7,000-square-foot restaurant will serve a broad menu of classic American cuisine for lunch and dinner, focusing on grilled entrees. AVENUE5 will also feature an island bar, private dining area, and views of the Fifth Avenue streetscape.
“AVENUE5 is the next logical step in raising the standard of luxury at the Inn on Fifth,” said Phil McCabe, owner of the Inn on Fifth and Club Level Suites. “We’re replacing the iconic McCabe’s Irish Pub with an exciting, ultra modern restaurant that will offer a sophisticated, trendy dining experience consistent with the look and feel of the Inn and Club Level Suites.”
Working on AVENUE5’s interior, a design team from world-renowned Jeffrey Beers International (JBI) was inspired by the glamorous history of Naples and will give the restaurant a hint of “vintage glam.” The restaurant will offer a luminous, light, and airy palette, infused with the colors of the sunset such as a signature bright coral. The design will also incorporate materials such as light woods and satin brass to convey a subtle maritime theme.
In addition to JBI, whose award-winning work includes the Fontainebleau Resort and restaurants for chefs such as Daniel Boulud and Todd English, McCabe has hired Deangelis Diamond as the builder, having recently completed the extravagant new Club Level Suites at the Inn on Fifth. Local firm Kukk Architecture & Design, P.A. will handle the architecture and other design details in the creation of the new restaurant.
Additional information on AVENUE5 will be released as details are finalized.
