MIAMI, Fla.—The Hyatt Regency Coral Gables, the premier business hotel located in the heart of Miami, revealed today its highly-anticipated four-month renovation to all of the hotel’s mezzanine level rooms and various boardrooms. Also included in the renovations is the Alcazaba ballroom, the once popular nightclub that will now be home to some of the most beautiful weddings ceremony’s and special events in Miami. All of the newly renovated spaces make up part of the 19,000 square-feet of meeting and event space in the Mediterranean style hotel that caters to both the business and leisure traveler.
“Our guests have always appreciated how our contemporary spaces reflect the city’s Spanish influences, so we kept with the same Mediterranean theme, but added a modern twist in our famous restaurant and ballrooms,” said Jeffrey Babcock, general manager, Hyatt Regency Coral Gables. “Our goal with these renovations is to continue to bring people from around the world to our hotel and to enjoy all that Coral Gables and the City of Miami has to offer.”
The Hyatt Regency has also completely redone its culinary footprint. The hotel’s iconic Two Sisters restaurant has been given a fresh look, including new décor and a new menu. The Two Sisters restaurant first opened its doors in 1987, and has now become one of Coral Gables’ premiere fine dining landmarks. Paired with award-winning executive chef, Mark Vachon, the cuisine is the perfect mix to satisfy all palates with its Caribbean Latin flavorful fare.
