The Logan Philadelphia Joins Curio

PHILADELPHIA and McLEAN, Va.—The Logan Philadelphia, a luxurious and modern hotel located in the heart of Logan Square, today joined Curio—A Collection by Hilton following a multi-million dollar renovation. With 391 inviting, sophisticated guest rooms—as well as spacious suites complete with marble floors and French doors—The Logan Philadelphia, Curio Collection by Hilton offers guests a luxury experience combined with unparalleled design.

As Hilton Worldwide’s rapidly-expanding global collection of distinctive upscale and luxury hotels, Curio caters to passionate travelers seeking local discovery and authentic experiences. The hotel, managed by Sage Hospitality and owned by Host Hotel & Resorts, offers intuitive service and authentic hospitality, coupled with distinctive local culinary experiences.

Situated on the edge of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, in the heart of the museum and business district, the hotel’s prime location in Logan Square offers an enticing mix of history, culture, and commerce. Additionally, numerous green spaces within the hotel grounds and just steps from the hotel, including the square that gives the area its name, provide serene spots for relaxation and reflection.

“From its energetic environment and luxury accommodations to its prime location in the heart of Logan Square, The Logan Philadelphia is a community landmark, and will continue to be a social magnet for locals and visitors as we celebrate a new chapter for this beautiful hotel,” said Dianna Vaughan, global head, Curio—A Collection by Hilton. “With its unique design fueled by this city’s deep history and local artwork, we’re proud to welcome this hotel to our growing collection of remarkable upscale and luxury hotels.”

Of the 391 rooms, 64 are suites complete with marble bathrooms and French doors that separate the bedroom from the living area, offering travelers a residential feel. For those seeking a truly one-of-a-kind experience, guests may reserve the Presidential Suite—the new standard of urban luxury among Philadelphia hotels with an expansive balcony and sprawling views overlooking Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Other hotel highlights include an indoor heated pool, 24-hour fitness center with state-of-the-art Precor equipment, and a 24-hour business center.

In addition to luxury accommodations, The Logan Philadelphia is also a culinary destination in itself. Located adjacent to the hotel is Urban Farmer Philadelphia, a unique steakhouse concept by restaurateur, Peter Karpinski, co-founder and COO of Denver-based Sage Restaurant Group. The Commons Lounge, located in the lobby, offers a comfortable, yet stylish place to sip a cocktail, socialize and enjoy small plates from 3 p.m. to midnight daily. Assembly, the hotel’s rooftop lounge, will open in spring 2016 offering unrivaled views of Philadelphia’s Museum District. Each of these outlets will provide outdoor seating options either on the rooftop or street level, showcasing amazing views of Logan Square.

The guest rooms, event space and public areas of The Logan Philadelphia will feature locally curated art. With a collection comparable to a gallery, the hotel will showcase statues, paintings, murals and sculptures, true to the Philadelphia scene.

“The partnership between Sage Hospitality and Curio—A Collection by Hilton is the perfect blend of top-notch service and authentic individuality, accompanied by all the benefits Hilton Worldwide guests enjoy worldwide,” said Walter Isenberg, president and CEO, Sage Hospitality. “During their time at The Logan Philadelphia, our guests will experience the spirit and hospitality of the City of Brotherly Love, and will also be inspired to explore this historic city.”
