Avenue of the Arts Costa Mesa Joins Tribute Portfolio

STAMFORD, Conn.—Tribute Portfolio, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., today announced that Avenue of the Arts Hotel Costa Mesa, located in Orange County, Calif., will debut as a Tribute Portfolio hotel in spring 2016. The 238-room hotel is poised in the hub of Orange County’s Corporate and Cultural Center and the Performing Arts District, as well as steps away from South Coast Plaza. Owned by Wincome Group, an international real estate company, Avenue of the Arts Costa Mesa, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is set to undergo a multi-million dollar upgrade, debuting completely renovated rooms by the time of opening.

“We are thrilled to welcome our second hotel in California, bringing the ‘Stay Independent’ mindset to Orange County,” said Dave Marr, global brand leader for Tribute Portfolio. “We look forward to working with the ownership team and to providing our loyal Starwood guests and customers a classically designed, quintessential California hotel experience at Avenue of the Arts Hotel Costa Mesa.”

Designed by renowned architecture and interior design firm Dianna Wong, the hotel’s lakeside location provides opportunities for guests to soak up the California sun while enjoying a myriad of modern amenities and activities. Guests can enjoy full service dining at the Silver Trumpet Restaurant and Bar, with seasonally-driven menus serving modern California fare by executive chef Eddie Garcia. Avenue of the Arts Hotel Costa Mesa also offers a fully equipped fitness center, including whirlpool and sauna facilities.

After their renovation, each of the 238 guest rooms featuring 35 suites, will feature hardwood floors, granite bathrooms with toiletries and design that draw upon the best of both Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements. The Avenue of the Arts Hotel Costa Mesa also boasts seven flexible meeting rooms totaling 6,800 square feet of space, including an Executive Boardroom that seats 15 people and a more than 3,400-square-foot Grand Ballroom that can accommodate up to 250 guests. The hotel offers complimentary airport shuttle service and professional multi-lingual associates on hand 24/7 to assist international guests. The hotel has a team of wedding planners and culinary artists on-site to help plan weddings, using the lake as a backdrop.

“We are so proud of the attention-grabbing attributes that make Avenue of the Arts special—from our prime location to the amenities and personalized services we offer our guests,” said Paul Sanford, asset manager for Wincome Management and Development. “As a Tribute Portfolio hotel, we look forward to bringing our guests the independent spirit of an upscale hotel while providing the trusted brand power of Starwood Hotels and Resorts.”
