LAS VEGAS—AmericInn reported increased revenues and investments, and new marketing campaigns during its annual AmericInn convention this week in Las Vegas. AmericInn CEO and President Paul Kirwin sought to spark the spirit for continued growth and success within the brand and in the communities that AmericInn serves.
Kirwin told more than 550 franchisees, vendors, and corporate staff that he expects 2015 to be even stronger, saying, “The market environment remains positive,” adding that, “We’re serving more guests than ever before and our hotels are more profitable than ever before…both great indicators for the health of our brand—and the health of the cities and towns where we do business.”
A highlight of 2014 was the award-winning Random Acts of Vacation contest that drew more than 3,000 online nominations from 49 states. The contest awarded recipients with free nights at any of the more than 200 AmericInn locations in 24 states. AmericInn is committed to even greater success in 2015 with The Great AmericInn Adventure, a summer promotion that encourages travelers to submit selfies and other original photos from all the places they’ve visited.
Kirwin also noted that hotel owners invested $20 million in new hotels and upgrades in 2014, including AmericInn’s Refresh initiative that updated guestrooms with new furnishings, flat-screen televisions, and Serta Perfect Sleeper beds. The brand’s Market Metrix customer satisfaction score was 92 percent, with 75 percent saying they are likely to recommend AmericInn. And the Smith Travel Report market share index for AmericInn rose to 109.
