Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa Gearing Up for New Improvement Project

DESTIN, Fla.—Closely following a renovation of meeting space, accommodations, and the fine-dining Seagar’s Prime Steaks and Seafood restaurant, the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa has announced a new multi-million dollar capital improvement project. Scheduled to begin Oct. 1, the five-month project will include a number of enhancements, such as a redesign and refurnishing of all Spa Tower rooms, upgrade of the 11,000-square-foot Serenity by the sea Spa, and an enhanced entrance and lobby, providing guests a breathtaking view of Florida’s Emerald Coast immediately upon arrival. The project will begin with guestrooms in the resort’s 200-room Spa Tower.

“As part of our commitment to improve our accommodations and amenities year after year, Hilton Sandestin Beach is now ready to proceed with our next project,” stated Gary Brielmayer, general manager of Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa. “Upon completion of the 2013/2014 renovations we’ll have updated every aspect of the property, just in time for Hilton Sandestin Beach to celebrate its 30th anniversary.”

The 598-room hotel offers more than 32,000 square feet of flexible indoor meeting space with pre-function space, breakout rooms, and ballrooms. Completed in February, the recent $5.5 million renovation incorporates upgraded technology with new Smart TV and teleconferencing capabilities in the boardroom along with touch screen lighting in the ballrooms. The project also included décor upgrades and an enhanced menu at Seagar’s Prime Steaks and Seafood. Updates were also made to the common space of the 400-room Emerald Tower, which houses the deluxe junior suites featuring bunk beds and a separate media center for kids.
