STATE COLLEGE, Pa.—Shaner Hotel Group has been awarded the management contract for the just opened TownePlace Suites by Marriott—Miami Homestead. The five-story, 97-room hotel features a number of high-end guest amenities, spacious room design, meeting and recreational facilities, and a convenient business center.
The new TownePlace Suites hotel represents the latest collaboration between Shaner Hotels and longtime hotel development partner Prime Hospitality Group of Hollywood, Fla. The companies are currently developing two hotel properties at the Daytona International Speedway—a Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott and The Daytona, a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel that is the centerpiece of the Speedway’s One Daytona mixed-use development.
According to Plato Ghinos, President of Shaner Hotels, the TownePlace Suites is designed to offer guests the comfort, features and services they’ve come to expect from a Marriott-branded hotel. “Providing our guests with a relaxed, residential atmosphere and a variety of amenities typically found in full-service hotels, the TownePlace Suites are ideal for business travelers or leisure guests seeking easy access to all the local attractions,” he said. “We’re excited about welcoming our guests and showing them what the TownePlace Suites brand experience has to offer.”
Located in the heart of Homestead at 935 NE 30th Terrace (right off the Florida Turnpike at Exit #2), the TownePlace Suites affords guests easy access to the business district and local attractions such as the Everglades National Park, Biscayne National Park, Homestead Bayfront Park, Homestead Miami Speedway, and other local attractions. The hotel is only 30 minutes from Miami and 20 minutes from the Florida Keys.
