SPOKANE, Wash.—RLHC has signed a franchise agreement for a new location in Colorado and also opened a new franchise location near the Detroit Airport.
Expected to convert before the end of the year, the future Red Lion Inn & Suites Fort Collins in Colorado is located near Colorado State University, Northern Colorado University, Agilent Technologies, Columbine Health Systems, Anheuser-Busch, and Kodak.
“Our property at the Denver Airport has done well as a Red Lion Inn & Suites,” said Zanfar Kahn of Khan Sleep, owners of the Fort Collins hotel and the Red Lion Inn & Suites Denver Airport. “We believe our Fort Collins property will also thrive as a Red Lion and that the name will help distinguish our hotel from those that surround us.”
“The Fort Collins market is a great fit for our brands, and we appreciate the vote of confidence from a current franchise owner in signing another property with us,” said RLHC Chief Franchise Officer Brian Quinn. “When the Fort Collins hotel converts, it will become the second new market for RLHC this month. We just opened our furthest east location with the conversion of a hotel at the Detroit Airport.”
The Red Lion Inn & Suites Detroit Airport converted to the brand last week. Detroit serves as corporate headquarters for General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Chrysler, and Quicken Loans, as well as some of the fastest growing technology companies in the country.
