MIAMI, Fla.—Menin Hospitality has introduced the rebranded Kaskades South Beach adjacent to group’s sister property the Gale South Beach, no longer just an extension of the Gale South Beach, rather its own separate entity. The exclusive 24-room boutique hotel opened in January 2015 as an annex extension just steps away from the Gale at 300 17th Street in the heart of Miami Beach.
With the rebrand Kaskades South Beach now features a guest lounge with its own separate check-in area from Gale South Beach. Guests will also be treated to a complimentary morning breakfast bar and afternoon wine and cheese spread in the first level guest lounge.
Kaskades South Beach’s restoration, led by local design visionaries Urban Robot Associates, was carried out with the utmost care to maintain the boutique hotel’s historic relevance and charm, as originally designed by famed architect Melvin Grossman in 1953. Two additional levels have been carefully incorporated to offer a 1,000-square-foot meeting space, catering kitchen, and 3,400-square-foot rooftop terrace and pool where planters allow for lush gardens to “cascade” down the façade of the building, bringing the property’s original name to life.
Within each room, guests are able to control the room temperature, lighting, window shades, and 55” LED TV through a Control4 unit in the TV. Additional features include chamomile-infused tranquility gel mattress, private balconies in most rooms, luxury Italian linens, an expanded 90 channel HD lineup on the latest IBAHN system, deluxe cotton bathrobe and slippers, GuyandGirl bath amenities, sitting area, work desk, wireless internet access, room service, and nightly turn-down service. Guests can also enjoy two complimentary chairs at Shelborne Beach Club and access to Gale South Beach’s fitness center along with dining and entertainment options including Dolce Italian Restaurant, Regent Cocktail Club, and Rec Room.
The deluxe rooms feature a modern, innovative bathroom serving as a personal spa with features that allow guests to customize to their preferences. Separated by a one-way mirror, each marble-clad bathroom boasts rain showers, spa tubs for two, and the latest hands-free Toto Washlet toilet that also serve as an electronic bidet with seat and water temperature controls. Suites located on the first floor also offer custom outdoor Japanese soaking tubs with chromatherapy treatment and water jets.
“It was always our dream to have Kaskades South Beach be its own entity,” said Jared Galbut, managing principal of Menin Hospitality. “With Kaskades we’ve introduced a sophisticated product that now stands on its own. New and returning clientele can experience the convenience and full amenities that come with Kaskades.”
