McKibbon Hospitality Adds Aloft Denver North Westminster to Management Portfolio

DENVER, Colorado—McKibbon Hospitality welcomed a new addition to its management portfolio, Aloft Denver North Westminster. The 120-room pet-friendly property marks McKibbon’s fifth managed Aloft and its entry into the Colorado market as the company continues its westward expansion, having also recently assumed management of Hyatt House Austin Downtown.

Aloft Denver North Westminster is owned by Colorado-based real estate investment company, Brinkman Real Estate. “We’re thrilled to welcome McKibbon Hospitality as our new management partner at Aloft,” said Dan Metzger, partner and COO of Brinkman Real Estate. “Not only do they set the standard for hotel management, but they also bring deep expertise in the Aloft brand.”

Aloft Denver North Westminster provides access to the area’s attractions including TopGolf Thornton, Denver Premium Outlets, and Westminster Promenade with downtown Denver nearby.

“We are excited to make our debut in the Denver market with the addition of Aloft Denver North Westminster—a beautiful property in a prime location with an impressive team of associates,” said Bruce Baerwalde, president of McKibbon Hospitality and president of Marriott’s Aloft Franchise Advisory Council. “We are extremely well-versed with the Aloft brand and look forward to bringing our years of experience, along with our commitment to serving our guests with the highest level of service and warm hospitality, to the Denver community.”

The Aloft brand caters to both leisure and business travelers with amenities including on-site parking, a 24-hour ReCharge fitness center, and workspace. In-house food and beverage offerings include the brand’s bar and bistro, W XYZ Lounge, serving traditional U.S. fare alongside craft cocktails with live acoustic performances from local up-and-coming musicians, and Re:Fuel, a 24/7 market stocked with grab-and-go and to-go breakfast and lunch options.

Guestrooms include 55-inch LCD TVs and Bluetooth Marshall speakers. The hotel’s outdoor whirlpool spa and Splash pool is heated year-round.

The addition of Aloft Denver North Westminster grows McKibbon’s overall management portfolio to 102 hotels with nearly 12,000 guestrooms in over 50 markets throughout the United States.
