Chesapeake Hospitality Adds Management of Three Properties

GREENBELT, Md.—Chesapeake Hospitality has added management of three properties during the first quarter of 2015—the Holiday Inn Wilkes Barre-East Mountain, Days Inn Harrisburg North, and Fenwick Inn—to its management portfolio.

“Adding these properties to our management portfolio has been a great way to begin the year,” said Kim Sims, president of Chesapeake Hospitality. “I am confident that these opportunities are a prelude to the growth Chesapeake Hospitality will have this year as our results oriented management strategies continue to resonate within the industry.”

The 152-room Holiday Inn Wilkes Barre-East Mountain in Wilkes Barre, Pa., recently completed a multimillion dollar renovation and franchise rebranding. The property offers resort-style amenities and 6,000 square feet of function space.

The Days Inn Harrisburg North in Harrisburg, Pa., offers 115 rooms and long-term stay suites located in the state capital city of Harrisburg, convenient to nearby Hershey Park. Both Pennsylvania properties are both owned by Lancaster, Pa.-based The Manor Group.

The Fenwick Inn, located in Ocean City, Md., owned by Washington, D.C.-based real estate investment firm A&M Investments, offers 198 guestrooms, an indoor pool, and panoramic rooftop dining, while being conveniently located to nearby beaches and attractions.
